An orchestra that writes its own music

Our musicians have boundless creative potential, and when they want to develop their skills in composing or recording, we get right behind them. Since November 2022 we’ve been running Creativity Labs where, under the guidance of Kristjan Järvi, musicians work side by side with professional sound engineers and learn about recording equipment and audio production. The musicians get to workshop ideas for new pieces, jam with each other and together create new sound worlds with digital effects. Out of these sessions we’re building a body of new music for the orchestra. We are writing our own future.
