The Tempest

An immersive concert experience blending musical performance with choreography, dramatic lighting, sound design and digital projection art, The Tempest features Kristjan Järvi’s arrangement of Sibelius’s masterful theatre music for Shakespeare’s play. The programme also includes Sibelius’s darkly atmospheric tone poem The Swan of Tuonela, pieces by Kristjan Järvi from his 2020 album Nordic Escapes, and a colourful and energetic work by Baltic Sea Philharmonic harpist Liis Jürgens, The Dream of Tabu-tabu.
