BYP’s first ever live concert streaming

Four days of intensive rehearsals and workshops at BYP LAB  culminate tonight with the first of the orchestra’s concerts during its March 2015 tour. The concert, taking palace at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre of Music in Luslawice, will be streamed live via BYP’s Facebook page. Global audiences will be able to experience the sound of the Baltic Sea, as brought to you by the Baltic Sea Youth Philharmonic with its signature concert programme ‘Baltic Sea Voyage’, in what is the orchestra’s first ever live streamed concert. Featuring music from every country surrounding the Baltic Sea, viewers will be able to experience works from the likes of Grieg, Sibelius and Pärt, to the folk-influenced Kilar, plus the pop culture-inspired living composers Kalninš and Gelgotas – and much more.
