Whether you are a musician or a fan – we would like to invite and encourage you to become a musician or a supporter of our musicians to enable them to be educated in the Baltic Sea Music Academy.

Join the Baltic Sea Philharmonic as musician

Are you a music student or graduate aged 18 to 35 living in Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Russia and Sweden or holding a passport from one of these countries? Then we are looking for you and inviting you to join the Baltic Sea Youth Philharmonic.

We are reaching out to young talents for the following orchestra sections:

Strings: Violin / Viola / Cello / Double bass
Woodwind: Flute / Oboe / Clarinet / Bassoon
Brass: French horn / Trumpet / Trombone / Tuba
Percussion
Harp
Piano

Are you interested in joining us? Then apply for auditions for the Baltic Sea Philharmonic as part of the Baltic Academies Orchestra (BAO) from 2 to 9 February 2018.

If you are not able to participate in the entire BAO project, you can audition for the international team of coaches of the Baltic Sea Philharmonic on 7 and 8 February 2018 in Tartu, Estonia where BAO takes place. Applicants cannot choose between the dates, but can state a preference. Appointments and time slots are given at the discretion of the BAO management and the coaches. Unfortunately, travel and accommodation costs cannot be reimbursed.

The application deadline for BAO and the auditions is 20 November 2017. Applicants will be informed by mid-December if there application has been successful. Please note that for applicants from outside Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, a handling fee of 25 EUR will incur which you need to transfer before the audition deadline.
